Village Prints Fundraiser Concept My two daughters and I have produced pencil drawings of more than 300 towns across 12 Southern states. Civic clubs, schools, chambers of commerce, and other organizations sell the limited-edition prints of these drawings in fundraiser projects. Union City TN, has commissioned us to produce 3 different drawings; Decatur, AL has commissioned 3 different drawings; Cherokee, AL a town so small it has no red lights has sold out of 2 drawings of 100 each. We will be glad to produce another drawing for any of the towns that have sold out. To receive further information concerning your organization selling 100, 200 or 300 signed-and-numbered, 11 x 14 inch limited-edition prints of your town, please fill out the form FUNDRAISING. Your club will determine the resale price. The Texarkana Chamber of Commerce sold their prints at $50 each. The Rotary Club in Nashville, AR, is selling their prints framed. Heber Springs Glass and Mirror Inc. 110 S. 4th Street, P.O. Box 204, Heber Springs, AR 72543, has framed prints for clubs in several states. Clubs make a profit not only on the print but also on the frames. Contact Melissa Joplin at 501-362-3801. We ship the prints C.O.D.; we pay the C.O.D. and shipping charges. The organization that purchases the prints of a town will be listed on that town's page on our web site, along with the ordering information. In addition, we will add a link to your web site or your chamber's web site and have the link labeled "More About Our Town," if you prefer, on your town's page. One marketing idea is to have two small note cards on a website page that anyone can print on their computer printer. On the back of these cards will be your club's ordering information. An example of these cards may be seen by clicking SAMPLE CARD. After a club has sold all of its prints, it receives the right to print note cards. The club pays the printing cost only and the cards can be printed locally. These cards can be sold for years to come. The note cards that are sold are larger than the free cards that are used for marketing purposes. Most clubs sell 10 note cards and 10 envelopes for $5 per package. Another marketing method is to encourage the residents with large extended families to send a link for your web page that is a part of my web-site to everyone in their address book. Regards,
Tommy Thompson
