Kannapolis, North Carolina, was one of the most interesting small towns that we visited while doing research for Village Prints. The town is filled with the history of the Cannon textile industry. Restored in graceful Williamsburg Colonial style, Cannon Village features fine home furnishings and accessories, gifts and collectibles, rugs and apparel for adults and children. We found this quaint village a neat place to visit because of the variety of restaurants and shops. Other North Carolina hometowns whose architecture was recorded by the Village Prints artists include Concord, Flat Rock, Gastonia, Hendersonville, Hickory, Lincolnton, Monroe, Morganton, Salisbury, Shelby, Statesville, and Valdese.
